Foster Care & Adoption Program
Restoration Collective exists to educate, empower, and restore families impacted by foster care. We believe that a Gospel-centered approach to foster care has to address all areas of the system. This means equipping the church to support biological families and celebrate reunification, while also supporting families who have adopted, and kids who are waiting to be adopted.
Over half of kids who enter foster care will return home to their families, but there is a definite lack of support for reunification. We saw a great opportunity for foster parents to come alongside biological families in a practical way. Our Restore training is a 5 week course that encourages a holistic approach to foster care and challenges foster parents to support reunification through digging deeper into the following topics:
