Foster Village

The mission of Foster Village is to come alongside children and families in the Austin area child welfare system and show them that they are not alone. Our goal is to create opportunities for the community to be a “village” of support to these vulnerable and underserved children and families.

Our programs aim to meet basic needs, provide therapeutic support, and promote community engagement. We currently have two Resource Centers where children entering foster care receive basic necessities such as clothing, car seats, cribs, back packs, toiletries, and diapers. We also provide special request therapeutic items such as weighted blankets, sensory tools, and white noise machines through our Project SOOTHe program. Throughout the year, Foster Village hosts events for foster families as well as Parent’s Night Out opportunities and connections to valuable resources and services.

Our Resource Centers are located in Dripping Springs and North Austin, and our service area includes Travis, Williamson, and Hays counties.
