The Texas Department of Family and Protective Services is looking for caring foster and adoptive families in your area. To learn more about becoming a foster or adoptive parent through our agency, we will be having the following information meetings in your area.

* If accommodations such as a sign language interpreter are needed in order to attend an information meeting, please call the Recruitment Staff listed at least 3 days prior to the meeting, if possible. *

*Please note that children are not able to attend information meetings due to the potential sensitive subject matter discussed.*

Matching families with support through partnerships between churches, child welfare agencies, and community resources. This group is a faith-based initiative seeking cultural and denominational diversity to improve relationships between churches and organizations in a collaborative effort to support children and sustain families. The Care Portal is a tool we utilize to better connect us with our partners to serve families in our community.

Day and time of the monthly meetings are the same; however, the location may vary as MATCH seeks to increase its presence throughout the community. Please go to the group’s Facebook page to join the newsletter mailing list.

 Co-Hosts include leaders from the communities of Elgin and Manor \

Speakers & presentations will be scheduled throughout the event including a mini-info session for those interested in becoming foster/adoptive parents
